SAP MM Consultant

Role and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge on new functionalities of SAP S/4HANA.
• Proficiency in SAP MM module functionalities, including materials procurement, inventory management, and associated processes.
• Strong understanding of the integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules like SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP WM (Warehouse Management).
• Ability to configure and customize SAP MM to meet the specific business requirements of the organization.
• Knowledge of defining material types, document types, and document categories.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, including RFQ , purchase requisitions, purchase orders, source determination, and vendor evaluation.
• Skilled in managing inventory levels, goods receipt, goods issue, and stock transfer processes.
• Knowledge of valuation methods, stock types, and storage location management
• Proficiency in maintaining material master data, vendor master data, and other relevant records within the SAP system.
• Knowledge of different material valuation methods, such as standard price, moving average, FIFO, and LIFO.
• Ability to set up and maintain valuation procedures.
• Understanding of goods movement processes, including goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, and reservations.
• Knowledge of handling return deliveries, stock transfers, and transfer postings

Profile:

• Experience of 5 plus years in SAP MM with expertise in  SAP S4 Hana in Implementation and Support.
• Worked in SAP Portal is an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Experience in troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems and map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs
