We believe in giving back to the society we live in. With a view to help the poor and the needy sections of our society we adopted the Sarvodaya School, at Basavanagudi, Bangalore, during 2004.
The students of this school (mainly working as domestic household help, or, working as helpers in Garages / Workshops, etc.) hail from the poorest rung of society, whose working parents find it difficult to provide them the very basic necessities required for decent education. Over the past 3 years, ITTI Samaritans, as the team is called, has succeeded in doing some extraordinary work at this School and have transformed this institution to compare with the best among other Public or Private Schools, in Bangalore.
Funded entirely by contributions from ITTIans and the Board of Directors, we have been able to provide the schools 250 odd students with refurbished building, desks, chairs, lighting, blackboards, School uniforms, books, shoes, sufficient toilets and a computer laboratory.
ITTIans join the school children in celebrating occasions like the Independence Day and Christmas year after year.
